Tools for charting and screening stocks

Plot prices, apply filters, and build a watchlist of US-listed names you already intend to study.

Charting and screening software helps you look at price history and filter a universe of stocks or ETFs by technical or fundamental conditions. Typical pieces include candlestick or line charts, indicators, heatmaps, and custom screens.

This job is lookup and filtering. A screen is not a buy list. An indicator is not a forecast. We do not rank charting platforms by who “beats the market.”

Use this job when you need to see a chart, compare symbols, or narrow a large universe before you do further work. Execution still happens at a broker.

Canadian readers: many screeners default to US listings. Whether a stub tool includes TSX or other Canadian listings is unverified on that stub. TradingView’s full review cites official Canada/TSX pages where we found them.
